"Called to get a price quote on building a garden bed using wall blocks. I sent over my plans that I've drawn up with a detailed description and all dimensions and number of blocks to be used on each side. Later received an email for an hourly quote with no time range of completion and asking me to sign to agree. An hourly quote is pretty useless if there's no time range, so of course I called to clarify. The guy who answered was not helpful or understanding to this. He basically told me there were too many variables to which team would be sent out and one team might take 6 hours another might take a day and a half (12 hours). I told him that was a huge price difference between those two “guesses” and I wouldn't feel comfortable signing up for services when I wouldn't have any clue as to how long it would take or how much it would end up costing me and that I needed something more concrete or at least a more approximate range of time/price estimate. He then rudely said, well that's all I can do, and that was the end of our call. Unfortunately, that call was a waste of time for me."
