What are the rumors about Front Range Lumber Company?

"I usually rent a truck and go to Austin's Hardwood, but that $50 delivery option that Front Range Lumber offers looked enticing. I needed a few sheets of baltic birch plywood, so I drove over to FRLC and was immediately met distain that I would want them to deliver such a small order. Nothing on the website says anything about order size. I understand that a company might have a delivery policy, but don't omit that on your website and try to up-sell me on lumber I don't need in order to qualify for delivery.I noped right one out of there, rented a truck, and went to Austin's, which by the way is awesome."

"I highly recommend Front Range Lumber. I have been shopping there since the 1970s, before the store became Front Range Lumber. Their quality of lumber exceeds that of the big box stores. Their customer service is outstanding. Staff knowledge is exceptional. Always friendly."

"My sister and I arrived at 12:30pm and were met with annoyed looks. We we're confused and double checked that they closed at 1. They said “well yea, the yard closes at 12:30 but they can help you at the counter”. We wanted to inquire about some pricing and information about some materials so it wouldn't take long. The guy at the counter was dismissive and condescending. Told us to google a railing company and that “even (WE) could do it”. The guy behind him was barely more “helpful” stating that trex is super expensive currently and we should just wait until spring. Never asked what the project was, what the budget was, nor asked us any questions at all.I prefer supporting smaller local companies, but now we are on our way to Lowe's or Home Depot to hopefully be met with better customer service and less gender bias.Be better."
