"Wow, we love our new O'Keefe Built back deck and front porch! They turned out even better than expected and the deck has changed the way we use our backyard. With the added privacy, we now use our new deck several times a week for dinner, instead of once a year. And our matching front porch completely modernizes the curb-appeal of our home. In fact, we only decided to add the front porch after seeing the quality of the back deck as it was being built.If you are looking for a great value in decks, rather than the cheapest in town, O'Keefe is a great place to start shopping. What you get for a little extra money: 1) Engineered wood for the framing that starts straight and stays straight, unlike pressure-treated pine, 2) Top-level materials, with no shortcuts on hangers, flashings, railings, etc., and 3) Absolutely bomber construction, with 12” on-center joists, double and triple beams, etc., etc.Felipe built our deck and porch by himself, and he's one of the best craftsmen whom I've ever met. His work is impeccable and a joy to watch. From digging the first footer to mounting the final handrail, he clearly had everything planned from the start. He is truly a master deck builder and meticulous about the details. Everything was dead level and lined up perfectly. If you get Felipe assigned to your job, consider yourself especially fortunate.Communications with Pat (the owner) and Chad and Derek (the project managers) were good from start to finish. All promises and expectations were delivered on, with no surprises.Bottom line, we paid a little extra with O'Keefe and are really glad that we did. We have a beautiful deck and porch that will be a joy for years to come."
