O'Keefe Built in Longmont, Colorado

"Terrible contractor. Bid a deck rebuilt for me. Refused to let my concrete guy pour the caissons. He did the caissons way under grade made a huge mess on the side of our house. Cut the steps off our deck. Then stopped answering my text and calls. When I threatened him with legal action he emailed my wife and said he wouldn't be back to finish the job cause he felt threatened. He did give me most of my deposit back minus $2600 for Caissons that I had to pay another contractor $2000 to redo them. Now he won't answer any calls or emails. He will ask for half down and 25% more if the job takes longer then 2 weeks. I checked at the home center and he never ordered our materials after 3 weeks. He quit the week he was suppose to start the project. I should of ran away when he told me a lady rated him low cause she didn't like the price. He will talk a big game how he does quality work and has integrity. BEWARE!!So you won't warranty a caisson done by someone else but you will take direction from him? Sounds like a pretty weak excuse for bad work. I said they would pour the caissons for cheaper because they were already going to have a pump back there. The demo part was to move work along since i had no steps on my back door. Funny you never addressed taking money and never ordering supplies. Guess you overlooked that part. Why won't you be a man and call me back or answer a text? You have no integrity. You just use that to rip people off. FACE IT YOU GOT SPOOKED WHEN I SAID I WOULD SUE YOU FOR MY $11K BACK!"
