"First, I should start with the positive - in my opinion, the fence looks great. However I decided I needed to post a review (which I rarely do) because of Taylor's poor attention to detail. We spent a lot of money on the fence, so to have so many corners cut was really disappointing to us.1) we had a latch with a code installed. We've had the fence for only a few weeks. It's already stopped working, and Taylor did not respond to our request to fix it. We now cannot lock it from the outside, which was the entire purpose of the lock.2) they were supposed to discard the old small fence that was on the property. They only took the tops of the posts off, leaving us to have to literally dig out each post. When I mentioned this to Taylor, he pretended to not know what I was talking about, even though it would be impossible for them to not notice that they left all the posts in.3) the left the tag on the bottom of every fence picket. It just makes the fence look a bit trashy, but we can't access them to remove them because they are on the bottom. Conclusion: the fence actually looks nice. But this was a huge splurge for us, so to have the gate broken within a couple weeks with no response from Taylor, along with the lack of attention to detail - we ended up feeling very disappointed with Taylor."
"I recently hired them to install a vinyl fence for my backyard. I had them come out and give an estimate and Jerry told me he would call me the next day to set up a day to install the fence and said they were about 2-3 weeks out. He didn't call the next day I finally called the office 4 days later to schedule the installation. I was then told that they couldn't get out to do until 6 weeks later. I finally got it scheduled and they were supposed to be at my house at 8 am (I leave for work at 8:30) and they didn't show up. I finally called the office and they had forgotten. They did send someone out however I ended up being late to work because I had to wait on them. They were supposed to come out and mark where the fence was, dig, and set the posts the first day. I came home to find nothing done, not even some holes dug. The 2nd day they started digging holes, and I got a message on my phone when I took my lunch saying they hit the main irrigation line and didn't know how to shut it off. I noticed the call was from 2 hours ago, I tried calling the phone number they left and no one answered. I started calling around trying to find someone to shut it off. I ended up having to leave work to go check on it, only to find they had fixed it but hadn't bothered to call me to let me know everything was ok.Overall the fence turned out ok but only use them if you are ok with it being done whenever and you have a flexible schedule."
